We are pleased to announce Confirmation 2020 has been rescheduled for August 30th and September 20th at 2:00 PM. Both Confirmation Masses will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas this year. Staff members from both parishes gathered to discuss how best to accommodate the Confirmands and their families during these restrictive times. The Archdiocesan Catholic Comeback Matrix states Masses can only hold 25% of the parish’s original occupancy. St. Thomas can hold 175 people per mass compared to 125 at St. Clare. St. Thomas Aquinas parish also utilizes live streaming technology so those that are at risk (or if occupancy limit is reached) can still view the Confirmation ceremony. We are committed to holding Confirmation 2021 at St. Clare when restrictions may be lifted. Here are a few notes to keep in mind as you sign up:
The Confirmand should arrive with their sponsor and may invite up to 3 other people, for a total of 5.
Signing up for a Mass time is first come first serve.
Please consider wearing a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines.
