High School Faith Formation
Confirmation packets are currently being updated for the 2022-2023 school year. Please check the calendar for Family Faith Formation sessions and Activities. The Confirmation packet was created to provide our Confirmands and their families with all necessary forms and important information in one package.
Session Options
Sunday 9:30 AM -11:30 AM at St. Clare (Includes Mass)
Sunday 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at St. Thomas (Includes Mass)
Wednesday 6:00 - 7:00 PM at St. Thomas
Since we do not offer Mass on Wednesday, It is assumed you attend a Mass of your choosing.
ATTENDANCE & MAKE-UP POLICY
We generously offer make-up policies to ensure that you don’t miss any opportunities. Regardless of how good of a student, athlete or how detail-oriented, hard working or diligent you are, we understand if you are ill or have an emergency, you may miss a class.
- Why does missing a class matter? Your absence signals your Confirmation is not a priority.
- What am I actually missing? An opportunity to demonstrate your desire to be confirmed in your faith. You are missing important lectures, classroom discussion and community faith building. We notice when you are not in class.
- Your attendance record is made available for Fr. Ed to review. Don’t let a missed class affect your standing. Your teachers take valuable time away from their families to be here for you. Show them your gratitude by participating in class.
- What happens if I’m sick or have an emergency? We understand sometimes people get sick or have an emergency. We have three different sessions (see options above) to help you stay on track. If one of these sessions does not work because of an emergency, let’s talk and arrange a time for a separate session to make up any class you missed.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is on Sunday, April 30th, 2023. There will be a Sponsor Night for all Junior Candidates to have a reflective evening with their sponsor. The overnight retreat for Juniors is March 4 - 5, 2023. Stay tuned for more updates as the time approaches. Juniors are required to attend a retreat. If you can not attend this one, you are responsible for locating another retreat at another parish. Each junior is expected to write a letter to the bishop requesting the Sacrament of Confirmation. We are here to guide you with simple instructions and a simple outline for every step of this journey. God doesn't make the path to holiness complex. By no means is it an easy path, but it's not complicated. We are excited and look forward to you becoming a full member of the Church as a Faithful Witness!
